Wisdom and Guidance for the Faith Leader

Do you struggle to find time to be with the Lord? This course will empower you to hear the Voice of God. The course is designed to help strengthen your faith through hearing God. We are all busy people and without intentionally quieting ourselves to be with the Lord the noise of the world gets louder. This course is ten weeks long. Below you will find the syllabus. You will have a weekly meeting with your coach. Your coach can meet you in person, by Skype, or by phonewhichever is more convenient for you. Description

This course explores the topic of wisdom and guidance for the leader from a biblical perspective. We will examine:

  • Essential biblical principles on the purpose of hearing and obeying God’s voice.
  • How to hear God through the Bible, circumstances, people, and prayer.
  • Instances of hearing God from the leadership of the Old and New Testament.

Goals

  • Hearing God in the workplace.
  • Listening to God in the workplace.
  • Obeying and applying His wisdom in the workplace.

Evaluation

Beginning of class evaluation and end of class evaluation.

One-page paper discussing the practical application for each book. What now?

Learning Activities

These assignments are based on each student’s place of leadership and are given by the coach after assessing the needs of the faith leader and their workplace. The challenge is to implement what is being learned, and the assignments will be creatively formulated according to those desired needs. The faith leader is to be praying and discussing with their coach their opportunity to coach the next faith leader.
