Walking Through Troubles

Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. Psalm 71:20

The Psalmist is saying that God has made him see many troubles and bitter ones at that. The writer doesn't live in reality other than the true One. His artistic ability to create words of the images of God doesn't leave out the fact that God allows him to experience troubles.

Many of us would like to talk over the fact that God allows us to see troubles here. We would like to create a God that only allow us to experience the good. But the truth is we will experience pain on this side of heaven and have hardships. But do we know how to suffer? It is never an easy topic to discuss with anyone, but we all live through seasons of persecution. Some of us have many!

The excellent news hard times are temporary days. The Psalmist reminds us that God will lift us up again. God will give us a new perspective and show us the light waiting at the end of the tunnel. Hardships are inevitable, but God is with us and will restore us to an even more excellent place in our hearts. Hold on if you are walking through a difficult season. God sees and knows your pains. He will lift you up.
