Phase VII: Psalms Book One

Service Description

This twelve-week class introduces students to Book I of Psalms, Psalms 1–41. Students will learn how the Psalms teach God’s people to pray, worship, lament, repent, trust, and live wisely before the Lord. Special attention will be given to the opening gateway of Psalms 1–2, the Davidic character of Book I, major themes of refuge and righteousness, and the movement from distress to renewed confidence in God.
