A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. Psalm 68:5
Oh, what a promise for times of uncertainty-knowing the Father. In a country where the deep need of a Father's compassion is needed. The overarching ache for the fatherless to experience the arms of a father's protection. To walk in unjust times, knowing the Father of all is here, is a welcome to all hearts.
There is probably no greater truth in God's character than knowing Him as a Father. But this often holds many hearts paralyzed because of the pain of a father's empty love. But this is where the Father in His holy dwelling rushes in His arms of grace and defends the unjust. His amazing grace places His hands of healing right where the pain was planted.
There is nothing more real that can be said of anyone's character than entering into their home. The essence of all is known when we enter into their home. When we enter into the dwelling of our Lord, there is holiness. There all else is consumed. There is compassion reaching into the depths of our hearts and melting away all pain. May the Father bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you.
